Loree Nelson
Loree Nelson is Of Counsel at Lamson Dugan & Murray’s Des Moines office, specializing in defending healthcare providers, including doctors, nurses, and dentists, in malpractice cases and before licensing boards. With over 20 years of experience, she has successfully tried numerous cases across Iowa and was inducted into the American College of Trial Attorneys in 2020. Loree began her career as a respiratory therapist and later worked in quality assurance, sparking her interest in law. After graduating at the top of her class from Drake Law School, she joined a medical malpractice insurer before transitioning to private practice in 2001. Outside work, Loree enjoys time with family, gardening, kayaking, and church activities.
