Diversity, Equity, Inclusion
We are a founding and active member of the Nebraska Legal Diversity Council whose mission is to foster the creation of a more culturally diverse and inclusive legal community through professional development, recruitment and employment efforts.
LDM is honored to support Legal Aid of Nebraska’s mission to provide free civil legal assistance to low-income Nebraskans. Our attorneys regularly volunteer at pro bono clinics, and in 2023 our firm was awarded Legal Aid’s Equal Justice Partner Award in recognition of our dedication to promoting justice and self-sufficiency for those in need.
To help reduce barriers to entry in the legal profession, LDM established the LDM Suit Scholarship, currently available at Drake University and Creighton University, to provide financial support for professional attire. We are excited to expand this opportunity to other law schools, helping students step confidently into their legal careers.
