John A. Maschman

John Maschman is an associate litigation attorney at Lamson Dugan & Murray’s West Des Moines office. Raised in Nebraska, he graduated magna cum laude from Creighton University with a degree in political science in 2010. John excelled in mock trial during high school and college, qualifying for national tournaments and taking on leadership roles. He earned his law degree from the University of Iowa in 2013, receiving accolades for his appellate advocacy and brief-writing skills. John's experience spans both public and private sectors, working on criminal and civil matters, and he has clerked for over two dozen Iowa District Court judges. In his free time, John enjoys traveling and exploring new cuisines with his wife Brianna and their dogs, Bernie and Millie.
