Tevyn L. Waddell

Attorney

Tevyn L. Waddell is an associate attorney in Lamson Dugan & Murray’s litigation department.

Tevyn graduated from the Nebraska College of Law with litigation concentration. Tevyn was awarded a Pro Bono Certificate and recognized at graduation for completing over fifty hours of pro bono during her time in law school. While in law school, Tevyn was the president of the Sports, Entertainment and Business Organization and was a research assistant for Professor Danielle Jefferis. This research involved examining the “rhetoric of the supermax” and the role of such rhetoric within the broader legal system, focusing on ADX prisoners’ non-criminal constitutional challenges to prison conditions.

Tevyn received her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in 2020. She was a member of the Gophers swimming and diving team, becoming an 11-time NCAA All-American and 2-time Big Ten Champion. Tevyn was also a research assistant in the Shen Neurolaw Lab where she focused on the standard of care regarding sports concussions and traumatic brain injuries (“TBI”).   

Outside of work, Tevyn is an avid fan of the Minnesota Gophers, Minnesota Vikings, and Nebraska Cornhuskers. She also enjoys playing pickleball, golfing and spending time with her family, friends and her dog, Enzo.
