Kaleigh R. Blinn

Kaleigh Blinn is an associate attorney with Lamson Dugan & Murray’s Litigation Department in West Des Moines, Iowa. Kaleigh was born and raised in Waterloo, Iowa, and graduated from Waterloo West High School. In May 2021, she graduated cum laude from the University of Northern Iowa (go Panthers!) with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Political Communication and a Minor in Ethics. During college, Kaleigh studied abroad for a semester in Greece with a focus of business and interned at Iowa Legal Aid for a semester running the Pro Se clinic. Kaleigh graduated with Honors from Drake University Law School in May 2024. She also received a Public Service Certificate and a Social Justice & Public Interest Certificate. During her last year at Drake, Kaleigh served as a Note Editor of the Drake Journal of Agricultural Law and helped get 4/5 of her junior staff members published. Kaleigh’s own Note, Call It As I See It, Iowa’s Ineffective Counsel in Rural Communities was published in the Drake Journal of Agricultural Law and she was received the award of 2024 Outstanding Note Honorable Mention. Kaleigh was a member of Drake’s American Bar Association Moot Court Team. Upon graduation, Kaleigh was admitted into The Order of Barristers which is a national honorary organization that provides recognition of those who have excelled in oral advocacy and brief writing skills.

In her free time, Kaleigh enjoys spending time with her loved ones, friends, and watching movies.
