LDM Prevailed in Iowa Court of Appeals in Case Regarding Emergency Hospitalization Order

Lamson Dugan & Murray LLP recently prevailed in the Iowa Court of Appeals in a case involving a patient subjected to an emergency hospitalization order. The patient sued the medical provider and law enforcement alleging claims of false imprisonment and false arrest. On review, The Court of Appeals, without opinion, affirmed the District Court’s grant of summary judgment to the defendants.
