On August 26th, 2019, Partner Cathy Trent-Vilim served as moderator at the Opening of Term Seminar & Celebration event presented by the NSBA Appellate Practice Section.  The event was held at the Nebraska State Capitol  Law Library.  The presenters included Hon. Jonathan Papik, Hon. John Freudenberg, Hon. William Cassel and Hon. Michael Heavican.  The seminar was targeted to lawyers who practice appellate law, with a focus on the Nebraska Supreme Court and Court of Appeals.  Attendees gained a better understanding of the appellate process for both courts and the subtle differences between the two.
